UPVC window fitter wanted in Louisa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Louisa County, Virginia. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails. Requirements: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
