Powder coating operator — Breckinridge County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. The job is on an industrial coating line. You should have: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process The role involves: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches Full-time, day shift.
