Metal caster wanted in Perquimans County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Perquimans County, North Carolina. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
