The role involves repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings.
