Concrete pump mate wanted in Genesee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Genesee County, New York. Day to day you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
