Incoming goods inspector — Parke County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Parke County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation 5+ years on the tools preferred.
