Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Johnston County, North Carolina. Day to day you will log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches. You should have: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
