Vacancy available: rebar installer (Washington)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Whitman County, Washington. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On a typical shift you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
