GMAW welder wanted in Fountain County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Fountain County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
