Fabricator-welder wanted in Carroll County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Carroll County, Illinois. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes You will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
