Furnace operator wanted in Donley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Donley County, Texas. You will be based on the moulding line. Your main tasks: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
