Domestic gas engineer — Jasper County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Jasper County, Iowa. The job is at a busy gas installation company. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing The role involves carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints.
