Ladle pourer — North Yorkshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in North Yorkshire, England. On the job you will handle: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time, day shift.
