We are recruiting: fire and safety officer (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Lewis County, Kentucky. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
