Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Mora County, New Mexico. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Part-time with flexible hours.
