Immediate opening: safety officer (Pennsylvania)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Day-to-day duties: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
