Pipe TIG welder — Saint Helena Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Six days a week, one day off.
