Great opportunity: slinger signaller (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Jefferson County, Texas. The job is at a shipyard. Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
