Glass and glazing technician • Calvert County, Maryland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Calvert County, Maryland. The role involves work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; install toughened and laminated safety glass; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
