Day to day you will wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
