Fabricator-welder • Providence County, Rhode Island

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Providence County, Rhode Island. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts.
