We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc turner in Transylvania County, North Carolina. The job is in a job-work machining unit. The role involves change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
