Great opportunity: escalator technician (Hawaii)

Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in Kauai County, Hawaii. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
