Cnc turning machinist — City of Suffolk

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in City of Suffolk, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
