We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Reno County, Kansas. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Part-time with flexible hours.
