Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Eilean Siar, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
