Join our team: MIG/MAG welder (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Cheshire West and Chester, England. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
