Panel welder wanted in Isles of Scilly

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Isles of Scilly, England. Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
