Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Washington County, Missouri. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. You will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; read lift plans and method statements before starting; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Performance bonus on top of base pay.
