Vacancy available: we are hiring a head baker in Hertford County, North Carolina. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Day to day you will grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
