Tyre bay technician wanted in Wayne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Wayne County, Tennessee. You will be based in a fast-fit workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers The role involves balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
