Now hiring: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Winnebago County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
