Great opportunity: fabricator-welder (Maryland)

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Caroline County, Maryland. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time with occasional weekends.
