Falsework carpenter — City of Virginia Beach

Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The role involves: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing 4+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
