Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Coos County, New Hampshire. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
