Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Livingston County, Kentucky. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius.
