Sand plant operator • Gibson County, Indiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Gibson County, Indiana. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills You will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings.
