Steel fixing chargehand — Silame

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Silame, Sokoto State. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites On a typical shift you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift.
