Great opportunity: sheet metal welder (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in New Kent County, Virginia. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On the job you will handle: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Part-time with flexible hours.
