Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Randolph County, Arkansas. Day-to-day duties: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time with occasional weekends.
