Elevator repair technician — Fulton County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Fulton County, New York. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
