Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Part-time with flexible hours.
