We are recruiting: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. The job is at a cake shop. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes On the job you will handle: • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
