Great opportunity: tailor machinist (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Parke County, Indiana. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams You will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
