Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Angus, Scotland. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred.
