Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On the job you will handle: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
