Great opportunity: concrete placer (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in Gallia County, Ohio. The job is on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Part-time with flexible hours.
