Vacancy available: milling machine operator (Minnesota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Lyon County, Minnesota. On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
