You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection You will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear.
