We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Livingston County, Missouri. The job is at a food processing plant. The role involves fault-find control boards and defrost timers; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; service split AC units and VRF systems; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC 1+ years on the tools preferred.
